Our primary means of cleaning exterior windows is by using a water-fed extension pole system. This method sources water directly from your home’s spigot, purifying it through a De-Ionizing (“DI”) tank. The purified water is then channelled through a hose to a brush head on an extended pole. Our system does not use any chemicals ensuring the runoff is therefore safe for both plants and animals – a feature many of our customers love.

The fundamental approach involves initially scrubbing the window using the brush which also has water flowing out of it. Afterwards, the dirty water is rinsed off by spraying water over the pane, moving from top to bottom, without making any physical contact.

Over the last decade, the water fed pole system has largely replaced the traditional mop and squeegee for external window cleaning. When used properly, the DI pole system offers a safer and more efficient alternative to conventional methods. However, it’s worth noting that there are instances where the mop and squeegee approach might be more suitable. This is especially true for older windows that might be prone to leaking or for single-story houses where all windows are easily accessible from the ground.
